Class Levels

  • Intro to Inspired Yoga
Intro classes are for students who are brand new to yoga and want to learn the basics, have injuries, or those who just like to move a bit slower. Learn the fundamentals of basic yoga postures (with an emphasis on alignment), breath, and relaxation. Intro classes are taught as a 10-week series, but you are welcome to start at any time. Be sure to let the instructor know of any injuries or concerns. Most importantly, have fun. After completion of the Intro Series, you are welcome to take the series again or try a Level 1 or All Levels class. Ask your instructor for guidance to help you find a class that is just right for you!
  • Level 2
A faster-paced class that emphasizes a more challenging flow, sun salutations, floor work, inversions, arm balances and if you like… headstand and shoulderstand (other options will be offered). Some chanting, meditation and advanced breathing techniques may also be included. Be prepared to move your body and to sweat! Room may be warm to get the body limber and fluid. Students are never pushed, so feel free to go at your own pace and rest as needed.
