I just wanted to thank you and Michael for the Jamaica retreat. The classes and the setting and the entire experience were inspiring and restorative and peaceful and–most importantly–just really fun. I am so grateful to have gone! The main drawback is turning out to be that I am now *so* relaxed I am pretty useless at work. Oh well–well worth it. Thank you again.

As I left for Jamaica, I felt like I was coming down with a nasty cold. I had a sore throat and everything. I thought “oh man, I’m going to go to Jamaica and be sick the whole time!” Whatever cold there might have been evaporated pretty much as soon as I got to Jamaica. Everybody was totally cool, the surroundings were beautiful, and all I had to do for the next few days was yoga in a pavilion overlooking the Caribbean Sea, eat fresh, delicious food and play all day in the water. I’m not a yoga master by any stretch (haw haw) and, I’ll admit, the scheduled three hours of daily yoga sort of intimidated me, but it’s funny how, when you have nothing to do all day but goof around in paradise, three hours of yoga goes by in a flash. I could have done yoga all day. I can’t believe I even thought about not going on this trip. It still makes me smile.
